Here’s how Kabir Khan reacted to Salman Khan’s Tubelight adapted from Hollywood film, Little Boy.
The first teaser of Salman Khan’s Tubelight was recently released and it took social media by storm. While the fans are going berserk over Salman Khan’s innocent and charming character in the teaser of the film, it is being reported that the story of Tubelight is based on Hollywood film Little Boy.
Well, the storyline of the film couldn’t be figured from the two minutes teaser but later it came to notice that the film is adapted from a Hollywood film. In fact, it went unnoticed that director Kabir Khan has mentioned about the same in the credit roll of the teaser.
Talking about the same, director Kabir Khan said that the Hollywood film is just a seed of an idea and that; everything else in Tubelight has been changed. Well, we hope so!

Released in 2015, set during the World War 2 in Calfornia, Little Boy is the story of a young boy Pepper or Little Boy (Jakob Salvati), whose father has gone to the war against Japan. The film is the magical story of a 7-year old boy who is willing to do whatever it takes to end World War II so he can bring his father home. The story reveals the indescribable love a father has for his little boy and the love a son has for his father. To get his father home, the kid encounters a magician who gives the little kid that the power to bring his dad back.
In Tubelight, the film is based on 1962 Sino-Indian War. The first teaser showcases how Salman Khan is on a mission to back his search his brother, Sohail Khan back from a war. The tagline of the film suggests “Kya tumhe yakken hai?” while in Little Boy the tagline suggests, “Do you believe you can do this?”
