Up until recently, the Sidharth Malhotra–Shraddha Kapoor romance was at the forefront in Ek Villain. But there is a newly revealed angle. The plot of Ek Villain gets thicker. There comes a new twist in the form of Riteish Deshmukh and Aamna Sharif.
Surprised? Did we know that there was another love story angle to the film? Well, the confusion is mounting, as there appear to be two concurrently running love stories in ‘Ek Villain’.
Riteish Deshmukh and his wife, Sulochna. Noted television actress Aamna Sharif has been cast for the crucial role of Sulochna.
A source revealed, “Several actresses were considered to play Sulochana, but Mohit and his team eventually zeroed down on Aamna because her look test was exceptional. There is no doubt that she is a seasoned actress and among the best that Indian television has seen. She was instantly confirmed for the film.”
Ek Villain stars Sidharth Malhotra as Guru, Shraddha Kapoor as Ayesha, Riteish Deshmukh as Rakesh, Aamna Sharif as Sulochna, and Amrita Puri as Fatima.
Produced by Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Motion Pictures, The film is directed by Mohit Suri and is slated to release on June 27, 2014.
