As the actor took to his routine today, Farhan Akhtar expressed distress over the pollution level of Mumbai.

The actor shared a picture of the map he toured on cycle for expressing his worry. He also shared a picture of the levels of pollution saying, “No matter how stressed you get, DO NOT take a deep breath.. #MumbaiAirPollution #nowwhat”.

Farhan Akhtar further added, “This poison is being inhaled by kids waiting for the school bus, by senior citizens going for a morning walk, by traffic police manning junctions .. but the hardest hit are the poor families living on our streets. There’s no getting indoors for them. #MumbaiAirPollution #nowwhat”.

Be it the cause of women welfare through MARD (Men against rape and discrimination) or environmental issues, Farhan Akhtar never shies away from taking an initiative. The latest being the concern over pollution.
