John Abraham is one of the most elusive actors around in Bollywood. He is seen and read in the media only during his movie promotions.
Of late, he was seen promoting his film Force 2 also starring Sonakshi Sinha directed by Abhinay Deo. In one such promotion gig for the film, he went on the Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza along with his co-star Sonakshi.
John Abraham staged an immediate walkout after Krushna‘s jokes offended him. He was talking about his career in Bollywood and took a dig at his acting skills which obviously didn’t go down well with the actor.
In a recent interview, when asked about walking out of the show, the Dishoom star was quite to the point with his answer. He said, “I am a meticulous media marketing planner. But even I’ve to admit that a lot of the media stuff we do to promote a film, is wasteful.”
He doesn’t believe in going to any lengths just to promote a film, and said “I will never stand around in a mall, throw T-shirts and blow kisses. Ultimately, it’s the product that counts, not how much you sell it.”
In past, the roast format of the show has not gone down well with multiple celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Lisa Haydon and Tannishtha Chhaterjee. Lately as the number of such incidents has risen, the celebrities have either downright refused or been reserved about coming on the show to promote their upcoming films.
