[tps_footer]Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar is coming back on Television. Fans of Karan can rejoice as his celebrity talk show ‘Koffee With Karan’ is coming back for fifth season.

Karan took to his twitter account to make the announcement that they have started working on the new season of the talk show. He organized a twitter chat with his fans to celebrate the new season. Not only did he announce the show, he also revealed that who is going to the first guest of the season. Any guesses? Well, it wouldn’t be an opening episode if it doesn’t start with King Khan himself. The first guest of the season will be Shah Rukh Khan.
‘Koffee With Karan’ has always seen Shah Rukh Khan as the first or the last guest of the season until last year. First season, SRK made his appearance with Kajol in the pilot episode. In second season, he appeared in two episodes- one with Rani Mukerji and Kajol and second with Farah Khan and Deepika Padukone. In third season, SRK made a solo appearance and pretty much owned the show with his wittiness. Fourth season of the talk show saw SRK ditching it and Salman Khan making his debut instead. SRK‘s absence raised eyebrows and there were speculations that all is not well between SRK and Karan. Now, it doesn’t seem like that because one can always see them or SRK‘s kids hanging out together.

However, all the SRK fans can rejoice now as he will be appearing on the show. During a twitter conversation with fans, Karan was asked whether he will be inviting Shah Rukh Khan in this season. To this, he replied, “yes!!! Opening episode has to be him and no one else.” During the twitter chat, he also revealed that the show will air either from September or October 2016.[/tps_footer]
