The hit machine of the industry Emraan Hashmi, who was last seen in the film ‘Azhar’ had been approached a filmmaker to star opposite Alia. Shockingly, Emraan has said a no to the film. The reason for the same is that the film was a romantic comedy and required Emraan and Alia to be romantically paired opposite each other.

Emraan Hashmi and Alia Bhatt are cousins and therefore, the Jannat actor refused the movie. It is said that Hashmi felt weird to be romantically paired with his cousin. Fair enough!

On the film front, Emraan will be seen in ‘Raaz Reboot’ whereas Alia Bhatt will be seen in ‘Dear Zindagi’ opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
