Happy New Year Characters Come To Life On Twitter

[tps_footer]For the first time the lead actors of a film have changed their Twitter handle original names to the names of their characters from the film. Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt Ltd’s next release Happy New Year’s characters have come to life on Twitter.

Have you checked your TIMELINE on Twitter today? Did you see Charlie, Mohini, Nandu, Jag, Tammy and Rohan? Don’t they seem familiar?

Happy New Year’s lead cast Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah have changed their twitter handle names to Mohini, Charlie, Nandu, Jag, Tammy and Rohan respectively.

Shah Rukh Khan: He plays the mastermind Charlie who spearheads a heist. In the pretext of a world dance show, he is planning a robbery. How? Wait for Diwali!

Deepika Padukone: As far as we know, Deepika Padukone plays a bar dancer who isn’t happy with her job. She wants to achieve more and Charlie aides her.

Abhishek Bachchan: This could easily be Abhishek Bachchan’s biggest release as he won’t be seen once, but twice over in the film. He is also an alcoholic tapori in one of the roles named Nandu. Abhishek was asked to lose weight for the roles.

Boman Irani: Not much is known about Boman’s character who is called Tammy. From what we hear, he’s the surprise element in the film.

Vivaan Shah: Earlier, Vivaan was said to be the narrator of Happy New Year – the role he played in Saat Khoon Maaf. But now we hear, he plays a computer hacker.

Happy New Year is produced by Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt Ltd and directed by Farah Khan. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood,Vivaan Shah and Jackie Shroff. The music of the film is composed by Vishal-Shekhar and the film is distributed by Yash Raj Films. The film is slated to release worldwide this Diwali.
