Ranbir Kapoor gave a terrific performance in his film Barfi. The film not only was a commercial success but it was also very critically acclaimed. The film saw Ranbir Kapoor playing the role of a mute and deaf boy named Barfi. The film was directed by ace filmmaker Anurag Basu. Recently, Basu who is seen as a judge on the dance reality show Super Dancer made Ranbir meet the real life Barfi. A hearing impaired dancer named Harsh Dhara met the actor on the show as he came to promote his upcoming film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Harsh’s act was really wonderful during the audition of the show but he could not qualify for the competing rounds. When the Rockstar actor made his presence on the show, Anurag Basu invited the hearing impaired dancer and he was really touched by meeting Ranbir on the show. According to a report in HT, Basu said, “It was a big moment for Harsh. We went inside Ranbir’s van and I kept looking at Harsh to see his reaction. I turned to Ranbir and his face has more shine in his eyes than Harsh. He was looking at Harsh’s video with such joy.Ranbir’s character in the film Barfi! was similar to Harsh’s, a hearing impaired person who is full of life. Ranbir met him and it was a great moment for me”.
Apart from this, Ranbir and Anurag are working together again for their upcoming film Jagga Jasoos which also stars Katrina Kaif. The film will be releasing on 7 April, 2017. Before that RK’s much awaited film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is just one week away and is all set to hit the screens this Diwali.
