Bollywood actor Salman Khan to pay tribute to his onscreen mother and late veteran actress Reema Lagoo.
Bollywood veteran actress Reema Lagoo, who passed away last month, was popularly known for her iconic onscreen roles as a mother. She played Salman Khan’s mother in Maine Pyar Kiya, Saajan and Hum Saath Saath Hain, Akshay’s mother in Jai Kishen, Kajol’s in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and Madhuri Dixit’s in Hum Aapke Hain Koun among others. She is one of few actresses of the industry who has done perfect justice to the roles of the mother.
Reema has always been respected by every actor of the Bollywood. Going back to her bonding with Salman Khan, it has always been special. The reel life mother-son duo has always impressed the audience onscreen.

Now according to reports, Salman Khan is all set to pay a special tribute to his on-screen mother Reema Lagoo at the International Indian Film Awards (IIFA) 2017 event in July.
Salman, who will be performing at the event, said, ”Reemaji had played my mother in some films, starting with ‘Maine Pyar Kiya‘. Off-screen, she was like a friend with me. She was a lovely human being. It feels like I’ve lost my onscreen mother.”.
Reportedly, Salman will dedicate some moments in his performance for late actress Reema Lagoo. Now, this is going to be special in every way and emotional as well.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan has geared up for the promotions of his upcoming film, Tubelight. The film directed by Kabir Khan also stars Chinese actress Zhu Zhu and Sohail Khan in the lead roles. Tubelight releases worldwide on Eid.
