Vidya Balan will be back on the silver screen with her much-awaited film Kahaani 2. The actress stunned everyone by the film’s first look and the trailer. The trailer of Kahaani 2 made the audiences simply spellbound and we can say that the actress is back in her league of films. The film will revolve around the story of Durga Rani Singh who is accused of kidnapping and murder. The suspense thriller brings back filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh and versatile actress Vidya Balan together.
The trailer was launched recently and it got thumbs up from the audience and even the critics were all praises about the trailer. Vidya Balan who was present at the trailer launch of the film was overwhelmed by the response. At the event, the actress was asked how she felt when people tagged her as the female Aamir Khan. The Dirty Picture actress responded with style. She said, “My films should also do the kind of business Aamir’s films do; only then I will believe that I am the female Aamir Khan. But sadly, it’s far away from the truth. After all, Aamir has been working for many more years.”
Well, Vidya Balan surely gave an honest reply. The actress has done many critically acclaimed films including The Dirty Picture, Kahaani and with Kahaani 2, we expect the same power-packed performance of Vidya Balan. Kahaani 2 is all set to hit the screens on December 2, 2016.
After Kahaani 2, Vidya Balan will be next seen in Begum Jaan. Interestingly, Begum Jaan will be the first release of 2017 and it will be hitting the big screen on January 6, 2017.
