[tps_footer]Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut have been making headlines recently. Their nasty fight over their past relationship has set media abuzz.
Just recently, Kangana and Hrithik slapped each other with legal notices and that’s how they sparked up the controversy of their secret love affair.
Just today, Kangana’s friend released some shocking confessions about the alleged affair. From falling in love with each other, to getting secretly engaged in Paris, to throwing accusations at each other. A lot has happened.
With a series of speculations and allegations, Hrithik has finally come up with an official statement.
Anything private that becomes public gives rise to speculation and unnecessary controversies simply because the general public are not privy to the whole truth.
Out of respect for everyone involved, I followed the legal path to resolve the matter in question so as to keep it private. It was a breach of ethics to reveal the contents of a private legal notice. Dignified silence is dignified up to a point, but there comes a time when the silence needs to be broken to protect one’s name, family and image.
The crux of the matter is that the mail id hroshan@email.com does NOT belong to me. I had filed a complaint in this regard with Mumbai Cyber Crime cell on 12 December, 2014 when I learnt of this impersonator communicating with said person. I have absolutely NO CONNECTION with this ID. The entire issue stems from a case of identity theft which has carried over to me. My complaint was reactivated on March 5, 2016 and the crime unit has made headway in tracking this person down. Once that is done, the matter can be laid to rest.
And finally, I believe that mental health is a grave and crucial issue which merits serious discussion. I would never address it flippantly nor use it as a personal attack. Any allegation to the contrary is a misrepresentation of facts. I was requested to keep silent and I did so for 2 years.
The ugly fight between alleged ex-couple started when Kangana called Hrithik her ‘silly ex’. In an interview, Kangana was asked if she was aware about Hrithik ousted her from Aashiqui 3. To which she had replied, “Yes, many lame rumours are doing the rounds, even a dumba** can tell where these rumours are coming from. I don’t know why exes do silly things to get your attention. For me, that chapter is over and I don’t dig graves.”
The fight turned nasty after Hrithik replied to Kangana’s statement in an insulting way on twitter. Hrithik Roshan replied on Twitter, ”Ther r more chances of me having had an affair with d Pope dan any of d (Im sure wonderful) women d media hs ben naming. Thanks but no thanks.”
Hrithik’s legal notice claims that Kangana suffers from Asperger’s syndrome while Kangana’s notice claims that Hrithik has his own mental illness.
In his legal notice, Hrithik Roshan also asked the actress to make an apology by calling a press conference. In addition to it, Bang Bang actor has also accused Kangana for sending him 1, 439 personal and absurd mails.[/tps_footer]
