Hrithik Roshan’s character in Kaabil is required to speak in many voices. He had to mimic Amitabh Bachchan too.
DNA quoted a source as saying, “When Hrithik did a voice imitation of Big B, he was so uncannily close to the original that everyone on the sets assumed that sound designer Resul Pookutty had somehow engineered the voiceover.”
The source adds, “Hrithik’s character Rohan Bhatnagar in Kaabil is a blind man who lives a normal life in the city much like many others there and earns by being a dubbing artiste. Apart from Mr Bachchan’s voice, Rohan is seen mimicking other celebrities as well.”
Mimicry happens to be one of Hrithik’s hidden talents. Hence, the actor insisted that his voice wouldn’t be dubbed by a mimicry artiste.
Hrithik said, “I guess this is just a reflection of the kind of impact Mr Bachchan has had on my generation, and of course, the fact that hard work equals results.”
Even after the Kangana Ranaut spat, isolation from the Bollywood and failure of Mohenjo Daro, he keeps motivating himself. Kaabil, directed by Sanjay Gupta, will be releasing on January 26, 2017. The trailer is supposedly coming out during Diwali, along with the prints of Shivaay.
After Kaabil, the Greek God of Bollywood will start prepping for his popular superhero franchise film, Krrish 4. Priyanka Chopra is out of India shooting for her English TV series, Quantico season 2. So, if she’ll be there in the film or not is still a mystery!
