Hrithik was in Madrid, Spain for IIFA and after shooting for IIFA doting father Hrithik took off to Africa for a vacation with his kids Hrehaan and Hridaan. While returning from Africa, Hrithik apparently missed his connecting flight at Istanbul and was stuck at Ataturk airport. Hrithik immediately spoke to airport authorities and took the next flight to India. Luckily, the actor didn’t wait and took the next flight out hours before the horrifying attacks that killed 36 people and injured 147 others at the airport on Tuesday night.

About the same, Hrithik tweeted, ‘missed connecting flight at Istanbul n were stuck at the airport next flight was next day,but took economy n flew out earlier. #Prayers4istanbul.’
Hrithik then expressed his grief by tweeting, ‘Ws helped by d kindest staff at Istanbul airport hours ago. Shocking news. Innocents killed 4 religion.V must stand united against terrorism.’
Well, Hrithik is lucky enough to be safe and whatever happened at the airport was really sad. 36 people were brutally killed and many were injured. We hope that terrorism is soon eradicated from the world.
