An Insignificant Man Gets Standing Ovation At Indian Premiere!

After creating ripples across International Film Festivals and gaining critical as well as audience acclaim, ‘An Insignificant Man‘ premiered in India on 23rd October 2016.

The film, a documentary on Arvind Kejriwal held its Indian premier at JioMAMI Mumbai Film Festival,to a houseful audience lastnight.
People began lining up two hours before the film started outside the theatre.
The Arvind Kejriwal & Yogendra Yadav starrer “An Insignificant Man” received a standing ovation from the audience upon its screening.
The atmosphere was electric as a frenzied question and answer session followed the film with organisers requesting the crowd to leave due to time running out.
The film follows the journey of the Aam Aadmi Party from it’s inception to the 2013 Delhi elections.
During the Q&A after the film, the director’s stressed on the role of their crowdfunders who had backed their project during the critical editing phase.

The Film Premiered at BFI London Film Festival , Toronto International Film Festival, Warsaw International Film Festival (Poland) followed by it’s Indian Premier.

An Insignificant Man also went ahead to win the Warsaw jury Prize at Poland.
Helmed by Khushboo Ranka & Vinay Shukla, the film is a political thriller following Arvind Kejriwal on his election campaign. It has been produced by the posterboy of intellectually stimulating cinema, Anand Gandhi. Critics have praised the film for its nuanced and complex portrait of Kejriwal, the AAP and the Indian political landscape.
The film plays again at MAMI on Wednesday evening.
