A new still from Anurag Basu’s upcoming movie Jagga Jasoos was released on children’s day yesterday and it couldn’t have been more apt! The picture shows Ranbir Kapoor, who plays the lead in the film, with his ‘boyish charm’ and wearing shorts and a sweater which is more like a school uniform, dancing around in what seems to be a boys’ hostel. There have been reports stating that Ranbir plays a teenager in search of his missing father.
This still has been unlike all the others that were released before. Those that have surfaced online earlier showed RK junior engaging in some high octane action sequences.

Though this project has faced many delays and setbacks, Anurag Basu is known to invest time and heart in making any films, take for example Barfi! The movie is said to be a musical with a lot of songs composed by Pritam.
With Ranbir and Katrina Kaif as leads, produced by Disney India and Picture Shuru Productions, Jagga Jasoos is all set to release on April 7, 2017.
