Kajol is all set to face the camera again in her home production and clearly states that she has no differences with Karan Johar.
Kajol, who cut down her movie assignments post-motherhood tries to spend maximum time with her daughter Nysa and son Yug and stated that the biggest gift her children can ever give her is acknowledgment.
“The biggest gift your children can ever give you is the acknowledgment. When I go back home and my son says I missed you and hugs me, I really love that. That makes my day,” said Kajol.
Recently the makers of the forthcoming animation movie Mighty Raju Rio Calling have crowned Kajol with the Mighty Mom Award.
“I think awards are great, but that’s precisely for that time till you are on the stage and you are accepting that award. After that it’s over. After that momentary high, you have to go to the next thing and go on with your life and don’t have to live with that for the rest of your life,” said Kajol.
According to Kajol, the world is not so safe for children anymore she is always on guard and stated that it’s the duty of the parents to keep an eye on their kids.
“As a child, I have never watched cartoons as I was busy with physical activity. My mum used to tell me to go out and play, and we didn’t use to go out with our maids. Today, world is different if kids go out, we send our maids with them. World has become unsafe today it’s different,” she said.
Kajol, also stated that she is very close to her mother Tanuja and that it does matter to her whether her mom approves her decisions or not.
“My mom is very special to me. I have idolised her since my childhood. When I was a kid, the biggest thing was my mum’s approval. I crave for my mother’s approval. My mom is my mentor and the way she has taught me has made me a better mother. If I am taking any decision in my life I always give it a thought what my mother will think about it. I know for a fact that she is not narrow-minded and she is very cool.” stated Kajol.
