According to sources, there are ego clashes between Deepika and Ranveer because of Shahid Kapoor. The Gunday actor wasn’t keen on working with Kapoor in Padmavati. But, Deepika is keen in working with him and wanted Shahid to portray her husband in the film. This did not go well with Ranveer as he believes Shahid will share more screen space with Deepika rather than him in the film.
Not only that, Deepika’s demand of having her solo poster for the film also did not go well with Singh. As the film is more based on the character she is playing, it is not wrong on her side to ask for a solo poster for Padmavati. Also, she is getting paid more than Ranveer in the film which has apparently upset the actor.
Lately, Ranveer seems to be miffed with Sasha and the Piku actress’ Twitter PDA. Kapoor appreciated Deepika for her stint in the XXX: Return of Xander Cage trailer. Deepika also replied to him with three kissing emojis.
We wonder how will Ranveer react to Deepika’s reaction now. Also, the three will soon start shooting for Padmavati. Hence, it would be interesting to see if they manage to clear their differences and come together again.
