He said that everybody knows about his sexual orientation and he doesn’t need to scream about it and even if he had to, he wouldn’t scream out loud because of the country he is living in where he would possibly be jailed for saying this. He said that he has given hints on platforms like AIB Roast where half of the people had supported him whereas half took offence. He said that he did what he did and did openly in front of his mother in the front row.
When people questioned his morality, he said that his mother is cool with his behaviour and he insisted her to not attend. But the mother didn’t listen and came. He also said that he asked his mum to not be embarrassed over his jokes.
Karan Johar, very boldly said that his sexuality has always been laughed at and that made him disheartened but he doesn’t care about it. Although he has been advised to be an icon with his sexual opinions, he said he wants to live his life and doesn’t care what people think of him and his sexuality.
