As per sources, Ranveer might replace Fawad Khan in the film Raat Baaki. The film initially had Katrina and Fawad in the lead roles. However, due to the recent ban on Pakistani actors in India, the makers are planning to rope in Singh as the male lead. This is the first time Ranveer and Katrina will work together. The film is going to be a Punjabi love story. It will be produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Debutant director Aditya Dhar will helm the film. However, no official announcement of Fawad’s replacement is out yet.
Currently, Kat is shooting for Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos, along with her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. The film will hit the screens on April 7, 2017. On the other hand, Ranveer is gearing up for the promotions of his upcoming release Befikre. He is romancing diva Vaani Kapoor in the film. The trailer launch of Aditya Chopra’s directorial is taking place at the Eiffel Tower, on October 10. Befikre is releasing on December 9.
