Recently, the Uri attacks have cost the life of 18 Indian soldiers. The outrage was so huge, that many people and MNS party demanded a ban on Pakistani artist. Due to this, the IMPPA has taken a decision of banning all the Pakistani artists and technicians from working in India. Hence, Kat’s film, Raat Baaki with Fawad Khan is in trouble. The actors were supposed to start the shooting of their film in November. However, this won’t happen till the ban is withdrawn and tension between the two countries cool down.
Debutant Aditya Dhar was going to helm this film under Karan Johar’s Dharma Production. The film was supposed to hit the screens in the first half of 2017. But looks like that isn’t happening now. It’s sad that fans have to wait longer to watch Kat and Fawad romancing together.
On the other hand, the film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, in which Fawad plays a supporting role, will hit the screens without any tensions. His role from the film won’t be chopped off. But, he will not be allowed to promote his film in India. ADHM will release on October 28.
