Lara Dutta is back after a break and is all set to roll out the sequel of her debut film production Chalo Dilli. Lara Dutta who got married to Mahesh Bhupathi in 2010 was on a sabbatical post the birth of her first baby girl in January 2012 is now gearing up for a comeback in films.
“Right now I am focusing only on doing films. I am definitely going to be back in films, you will see me soon. Everyone knows that we are doing a sequel to Chalo Dilli that is in pre-production stage. I am quite excited about it. Besides this, there are films that I am doing outside my production house.” informed an excited Lara Dutta.
Chalo Dilli directed by Shashant Shah starred Vinay Pathak, Akshay Kumar and Lara Dutta. The film did fairly well at the Box Office.
“I am doing a lot of stuff which is behind the camera, so that’s a new phase for me and I am enjoying being behind the cameras more than anything else. It’s been a tremendous learning experience and I had a great experience with Chalo Dilli and I’m proud of my film.” stated Lara Dutta as she interacted with media at an event recently.
Lara Dutta who owns a production house named Bheegi Basanti Entertainment, also plans to venture into producing television shows. She said, “We are going to be looking at television as well, but I can’t talk about it. You will hear about it. Television is opening up massively people will see many more changes on television. We have got a few interesting things in mind and even a great show planned.”
