Finding Fanny is a comedy starring Arjun Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles, where they and a couple of other oddballs become part of an unexpected adventure in the streets of Goa.
Finding Fanny is all about five Goans who set off on a road trip in search of an old postman’s childhood love, Stefanie Fanny Fernandes (Anjali Patil), though nobody knows whether she’s alive or dead or just a figment of someone’s imagination. However, the friends get lost and the journey originally intended to take twenty minutes takes one and a half days.
While Deepika has claimed that Finding Fanny is an off-beat film, that may not set the cash registers ringing but something she wanted to dabble with. Ranveer Singh plays Deepika’s husband in the film.
Finding Fanny also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia and Pankaj Kapur and is set for a September 12, 2014 release.[/tps_footer]
