MUMBAI: Amitabh Bachchan will be providing his vocal services to the upcoming superhero film ‘Krrish 3’, starring Hrithik Roshan as the titular character Krrish.
The actor had posted on his blog, “Up at 7 am to reach for a dub for ‘Krissh 3’ .. Rakesh Roshan father to Hrithik and the director and producer of eminence, asked me to do a voice over for his film .. I agreed and that was done ..”
Amitabh Bachchan has earlier provided his famous baritone voice for films like ‘Lagaan’, ‘Jhoom Barabar Jhoom’ and ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ as a narrator or sutradhar. He had last lent his voice alone for ‘Kahaani’ when he sang the song ‘Ekla Cholo Re’.
Rakesh Roshan, director of ‘Krrish 3’ has said, “Amitabh Bachchan said yes to doing a voiceover of the film and his narration is important because it creates a connect between the three films and introduces the villain.”
‘Krrish 3’ also stars Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut besides Vivek Oberoi and Hrithik Roshan. It will release on 3 November, 2013.
