After Fawad Khan expressed his views about the Uri attacks, even Mahira Khan breaks her silence and she strongly condemned the terror attacks. The Pakistani actress took to Facebook and wrote,
“In the 5 years that I have been working as an actor I believe that I have tried my best to keep my country’s respect intact – by being a professional and by representing Pakistan here and elsewhere to the best of my abilities.
As a Pakistani and citizen of the world I strongly condemn any act of terror, any loss of human life no matter which soil it is on. I will not rejoice in bloodshed and war. I will always hope for and dream of a world where my child can live without it, and always plead with everyone to imagine a peaceful world.
It has also been in this time my faith in saner minds and goodness has been restored, thank you for the messages, love and support.
Hoping and praying for peace always.
MK”
The debate on banning Pakistani artistes seems to have no end in the country. Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan have become a major target of attack after the unfortunate incident that cost the lives of 19 Indian soldiers. The MNS Political Party have warned the makers of Ae Dil hai Mushkil and Raees to chop off Fawad‘s and Mahira’s role if they want a smooth release in the country. The members of Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association (IMPPA) also requested the MNS Political Party to allow the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Raees peacefully as the movies have been entirely shot and the investors of the movies are Indians. It seems the MNS Party is firm on its decision.
Well, What do think about Mahira Khan‘s comment over the issue?
