The moment John Abraham realized he could be a producer with a difference, he has been associated with unusual scripts. First Vicky Donor and then Madras Cafe, John seemed to be making all the right decisions as a producer.
Soon he will be seen in the official remake of Korean drama The Man From Nowhere called Rocky Handsome. He will be starring opposite Nathalia Kaur.
The remake will be directed by Nishikant Kamat who had earlier helmed John’s Force. The film is about a man who takes on a drug mafia after they abduct an eight year old he was attached to.
The film is presently being shot in Ramoji Film city in Hyderabad with John and Nathalia in attendance. The film is co-produced by John’s JA Entertainment and Sunir Khetrapal’s Azure Entertainment.
With Nishikant Kamat and John in the film, Rocky Handsome will be yet another action masala film with an interesting twist. But the title did strike us as funny. Was it kept to make an obvious reference to John’s look or the character need to have a quirky name? Guess we will have to wait for that answer
