Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan is on a roll right now with one after one upcoming films. The actor mesmerized everyone and gained major recognition with his performance in his last film Badlapur. Varun showed audiences how versatile he is and the actor is once again ready to show his whole new side in upcoming film ABCD 2.
Varun wore his dancing shoes for Remo D’Souza’s upcoming film ABCD 2. Not only that, but the actor also dropped a verse in ‘Bezubaan Phir Se Unplugged’ song from the film, which is sung by Shraddha Kapoor. We have often seen Varun rap on the stage but for the very first time, the actor rapped an original verse in an official song. Just when we thought that this was a new beginning for the actor and we’ll get to hear more rap songs from Varun, the actor revealed that he has no plans on taking rap as a full time career.
During the promotions of his upcoming film ABCD 2, Varun was asked if he’ll ever take rapping or singing as a career and whether we’ll get to see him as a full time rapper, to which Varun replied, “No, nothing like that. I think rapping is a way of expression. I have worked with Sachin-Jigar during ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ also and this rap (in ‘ABCD 2′) has been written beautifully by D Soldierz.”
The actor went further on and revealed the reason behind adding a rap song in the film. Varun said that since ABCD 2 has everything for every culture and religion and since Varun himself is a Punjabi, he thought that the people in the North would love rap. The film has something for Gujaratis, Maharashtrians and all the other cultures.
Any Body Can Dance 2 (ABCD 2) also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Prabhu Deva and Lauren Gottlieb. The film is all set to hit the theatres on June 19, 2015.
