Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmavati starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor finally gets a sigh of relief. After a long wait, the film finally gets clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). But on certain conditions. The director has to change the film’s title to ‘Padmavat’ besides making four other modifications to get UA certificate.
The film, which was supposed to release on December 1, 2017, has got a ray of hope but the road is still not clear. The title change has not gone well with the social media users. As soon as it was announced, Twitter users couldn’t keep calm.

Karni Sena group had been constantly threatening the filmmakers as well as Deepika to stop the release of the film. The film was announced to be banned in many states. The makers of ‘Padmavati’ then willingly deferred the release date of the film, owing to controversies.
