Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is certainly in the mood for some education and enlightenment. For the thinking superstar chose to attend an informative session at KEM Hospital in the city, this past weekend.

MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is certainly in the mood for some education and enlightenment. For the thinking superstar chose to attend an informative session at KEM Hospital in the city, this past weekend.

Aamir was the chief guest at an educative, informative session at the KEM Hospital recently in Mumbai city. The intellectual superstar entered the venue, extremely punctual, clad in a crisp grey tee and black trousers. The  actor was all smiles as he interacted with senior faculty at the world-class hospital. Along with the Dean, Aamir chose to go on stage among the distinguished panel, and discuss some very important issues such as health and sanitation.

Aamir’s also been busy preparing for shoots of his upcoming films: Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘P.K’ and YRF’s ‘Dhoom 3’. He also recently visited Ahmednagar (Maharashtra) to inaugurate one of India’s largest shelters for women and children — the ‘Satyamev Jayate Bhawan’. Set up by the NGO Snehalaya, the centre has been titled in honour of the Aamir Khan’s TV show, Satyamev Jayate.

Since the very first episode, on May 6 last year, Aamir has appealed to the viewers to donate funds towards the NGO Snehalaya. Since then, reports suggest that the NGO has received over Rs. 1.13 cr from donations from across the country.“The Bhawan is meant for rape victims, abandoned girl children and other helpless women. This centre will provide women with food and shelter and eventually rehabilitate them,” said a source.
