Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone has established herself not only in India but across the globe. The undisputed queen Deepika Padukone has had a very big day today as the actress has made it to the prestigious MTV Europe Music Awards 2016(EMA). Talking about it, the 30-year old actress said that it is a step forward in her global career. The beautiful actress was not only at the show but she also presented an award on Sunday.
Miss Padukone was all excited when she received the invite for the global event. “I was pleasantly surprised when I got the invite. It is very gracious of them to invite me. I have grown up watching the MTV awards and I didn’t think that one day, I would be walking down the red carpet and presenting an award at this global music event. It’s a step forward in my global career,” said the actress.
The highlight of the event was Deepika Padukone’s outfit designed by Monisha Jaising. The Bajirao Mastani actress stunned everyone with her look at the event and her embellished strapless bra was paired with a high waisted olive green draped skirt with a matching embellished jacket. Well, the lovely actress like always made her style statement but it seems that a popular UK Daily, Dailymail is not so impressed with Padukone’s fashion sense. Looks like that her style statement has landed her in their Worst Dressed category.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone will be next seen in her much awaited Hollywood flick xXx: Return of Xander cage opposite Vin Diesel. The movie is all set to hit the screens on January 20, 2017.
