MUMBAI: This is just the second time she is visiting our country, but socialite and hotel heiress Paris Hilton looks like is already in love with it.
On the last day of the India Resort Fashion Week (IRFW) 2012 going on at Candolim beach in Goa, the 31-year-old took on the role of a DJ.
“So Goa how are you feeling today, all set to rock the night and get grooved?” she asked from behind the console, “I love you people. You guys are just so amazing, I Love India and the country rocks!!”
Pre-event the gorgeous Paris shared through her social networking page that she was thoroughly excited for the fashion week party. “Having a great time in India. So excited for my fashion week party this weekend,” she declared on Twitter.
This is Paris’ first visit to Goa and she is here with her beau River Viiperi. The lady has been regularly tweeting about her experiences here. “So happy! In Paradise with River Viiperi in a beautiful villa on the water. So peaceful here, such a magical feeling. Feel so blessed.”
After strutting down the ramp for designers Shane and Falguni Peacock at the finale of the fashion fest in Peacock print gown, Paris looked all geared for her maiden performance as a DJ in sexy metallic dress.
As DJ, Paris got the whole of Goa into a frenzy. She chose popular tracks like Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style’, ‘Tonight’s Gonna be a good night’ and ‘I’m sexy and I Know it’, apart from her own groovy remixes.
The crowd – a mix of people from New York, London, Ireland and Indian cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai, had the party of their life!
“I love Paris Hilton, We were always the fan of her vivacious beauty and watching her spinning for the first time is incredible,” said Viktoria Narain, a college student from Bangalore.
“After watching her performance, I want to go and kiss her. She is just superb,” said Daniel Verghis.
Beau River Viiperi tweeted: “After an outstanding performance of my love Paris Hilton, Getting ready for the after party!
After the show got over, Paris promised to come back again soon. “Wow! What a fun show! Had the best time performing tonight! So happy that you all loved my set! Loved seeing you all dance!” she tweeted.
On her previous visit to Mumbai, India, Paris had launched the Fall-Winter designs of her handbag collection.
