Preity did not wish to speak to the media persons who were waiting for her at Mumbai airport and appealed to them to not seek any comment from her friends and family on the case she has filed against her ex-boyfriend Ness Wadia.

The actress left for the US soon after filing a complaint against Wadia of using foul language towards her during an IPL match at Wankhede stadium and also accusing him of harassing and abusing her.

The Mumbai police had also written to the Chief Operating Officer of the team, Fraser Castellino, to record his statement. They have also sought assistance from BCCI officials and IPL – Chief Executive Officer, Sundar Raman in the case.

They had also asked BCCI to share the CCTV footage of the owner’s box and the ground where Preity Zinta went after the match got over.

The police were also examining Preity Zinta’s mail exchanges with Ness Wadia to ascertain if they had any heated exchanges in the past.
