Stars are shining bright for the Bollywood actress and singer Priyanka Chopra. The international star was named world’s sexiest Asian woman by UK-based weekly newspaper. Priyanka had won the title thrice in the year 2007, 2011 and 2012. The actress had lost out to Katrina Kaif last year, missing out on a consecutive win. However, the actress has regained her lost title this year by topping the top 50 list, leaving Katrina Kaif on the 4th spot.
The actress, who is connected with her fans through twitter, thanked them. She tweeted, “Thank you for the love! I feel blessed.” “Thank u PC maniacs! U r my strength.” The actress’s twitter account is flooded with complements and wishes from her fans.
On winning the title Priyanka Chopra said, “Someone once told me, sexy is what sexy does and you do it best when you are yourself. I don’t know what I did to deserve this but I’ll happily accept this title. I am very flattered to have been named ‘Eastern Eye’s’ Sexiest Woman once again. The fact that this is decided from a public poll across the world makes this even more special to me. Lots of love to everyone who voted and here’s to always being yourself.”
The actress is currently busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Bajirao Mastani. The movie is based on Maratha Peshwa Baji Rao I. Priyanka will be seen portraying the role of Kashibai, the first wife of Bajirao, played by Ranveer Singh. The film also stars Deepika Padukone who will portray the role of Bajirao’s second wife, Mastani.
