Bollywood’s Multitalented star Priyanka Chopra is currently having a time of her life. The actress received a lot of praise for her performance in her last film, Dil Dhadakne Do, is all set to mesmerize the audiences once again in her upcoming film Bajirao Mastani. Priyanka is so caught up with Bajirao Mastani that her one schedule often clashes with another. On July 18, the actress turned a year older and guess what the actress was doing on her birthday? Well, working!
Yes, Priyanka was working on her birthday, and had no idea that her mother had kept a surprise birthday party for her at her new place. While Priyanka’s friends and family were waiting for the birthday girl, the actress was nowhere to be seen at her own party. Guests arrived on time but the birthday girl was missing from the party.

Apparently, Priyanka Chopra was shooting for a very important scene with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for their upcoming film Bajirao Mastani. The shoot was supposed to wrap up by 8:30pm, but the scene got extended and the actress finally got done with the shoot at 10:30pm. So after wrapping the shoot, Priyanka Chopra made it to her birthday bash, where her family and friends were waiting for her for more than two hours.
Sources also reveal that Priyanka’s mother had a hard time explaining the guests why the birthday girl was missing from her own birthday party. But things fell into place as soon as Priyanka arrived at the venue accompanied by filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Priyanka’s birthday party was an intimate affair and only close ones were invited. The actress recently wrapped up Gangaajal and is currently busy with Bajirao Mastani, which also stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.
