The actor is known to give his all to the characters that he portrays on the screen.
However what few people know is that Rajkumar Rao doesn’t get off his characters looks till he gets a final thumbs up by his directors.
The actor stays in his look for at least about 15 to 20 days even after the film is shot. Raj who has recently worked with directors like Hansal Mehta and Vikram Aditya Motwane, stayed in the characters till he finally heard back from the directors saying that they have seen the rushes of the film and are satisfied with the final product.
Raj who has grown his beard and hair and had kept a dense look for Hansal Mehta’s untitled stayed in this particular look for about 10 days after the film was shot.
Similarly, the actor had to loose Weight for Vikram Aditya’s untitled and so even after the shoot was over, the actor stayed in his look.
Likewise, the actor stayed in his look for Amit Masurkar’s Newton.
Spokesperson confirmed the news and added, “Rajkumar is known to be a directors actor and he leaves no stone unturned for his characters, till he gets a final go ahead from his directors he prefers to don that particular character”
Raj has delivered some powerpact performances in past with hit films like Shahid, Citylights, Kai Po Che etc.
