There have been many reports stating that Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan was the first choice for the role of Baahubali and John Abraham for the role of Bhallaldeva and many other actors for the movie. However, Rana Daggubati just cleared the air about these reports.
A leading entertainment channel had created a story on actors who rejected ‘Baahubali’. Well, Rana’s quote retweeted them and stated that the reports are false.

Rana Daggubati further took a sly dig at the entertainment channel who later removed their tweet saying, “Fun fact 😉 the one who was being considered was Jason M ( khal drogo ) Game of thrones 😛 “
In a telephonic interview, Rana Daggubati had said, ‘My childhood dream of working in a franchise like Star Wars or Amar Chitra Katha has come true through Baahubali’

So, now it’s clear that Prabhas and Rana Daggubati were the original choices to play Baahubali and Bhallaladeva respectively in the Baahubali franchise. Meanwhile the film is doing an exceptional business at the box office and has broken all the previous records. The Hindi version itself has collected around Rs 395.50 crore.
