If the reports are to be believed, Rani Mukerji is all set to make a comeback to the big screen after the birth of her daughter Adira. As the child turns one year, this Chopra bahu seems to be ready to get back on sets through an untitled film helmed by Siddharth P Malhotra (who directed 2010’s We Are Family).
As the source close to the project claims Rani plays the central lead in Siddharth’s film. Like her last movie, Mardaani, this movie too will deal with a strong social issue. It seems the script was first narrated to Adi Chopra, Mukerji’s husband and then to Rani. They both instantly like the script it and Adi will be producing the film. Siddharth, Adi and Rani have been meeting and working out the details of the project regarding dates and other things.
It is also said that it wasn’t easy convincing the doting mother to come on board as she has diverted all her attention to take care of Adira and wasn’t ready to let go just yet. But as the kid turns one this December, Rani is considering the prospect very seriously.
Once everything is finalized, the film will be out only in the middle or end of next year.
