Earlier rumours suggested that Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s much awaited upcoming film Bajirao Mastani was postponed because the film is running behind its schedule. But going by the latest report, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra starrer Bajirao Mastani, hasn’t postponed to next year. The film will release during Christmas this year itself.

Currently, Ranveer Singh is shooting his portions in Rajasthan, whereas Deepika will be shooting her part in September. Also, Priyanka is yet to shoot her good amount of part for the film as well. Considering the fact that filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali never compromises on anything at any cost, and aims at perfecting even the small details of the film.

Due to this fact, it was said that Bhansali won’t be able to wrap up Bajirao Mastani before Christmas and meet his deadline, so he may have postponed the film’s release. But the reports are now clear, the film has not postponed. In fact, Bhansali has even locked the release date for his much anticipated romance saga. Bajirao Mastani will be released on December 18, 2015.

The film is based on a Maratha warrior Peshwa Baji Rao, played by Ranveer Singh in the film. The romantic saga revolves around him, his second wife Mastani and his first wife Kashibai.
