While earlier this year he was accused of sending dirty messages/pictures to an aspiring model. This time, Ajaz was arrested for sending obscene pictures and objectionable messages to a hairstylist. He was produced before a holiday court later in the day and released on cash bail of Rs. 10,000 in Borivali on Sunday.
An FIR was filed against Ajaz claiming how he would constantly send her objectionable pictures of his private parts on a messaging app.
The 38-year-old complainant, a divorcee from Malwani who runs a boutique, said that last month, she received a friendship request on Facebook from Khan which she accepted and the two ended up exchanging numbers.
Further, she was looking for an investor in her business and discussed with the TV reality actor and discussed it with him. She was not very impressed by the meeting and realised that he was interested in her and not her project. To clear her doubts, she praised Ajaz’s Whatsapp display picture and Ajaz later started sending her pictures of his private parts and when she objected, he started abusing her.
Ajaz was quoted saying all allegations against him as false when he was produced at the court and stated that his name was just being misused because he’s a celebrity.
Police arrested him on Sunday and booked him under IPC Section 354 (a) for se*ual harassment and under Section 66 (e) of the Information Technology Act.
