Dangal’s Story- In the last scene of the film, Geeta’s father Mahavir was locked up by a person who was sent by Geeta’s coach so that he misses the final match.
Real Story- The reality is that Mahavir Singh Phogat was present at the stadium during the final match of her daughter.
The final scene of the film had upset the real Geeta Phogat’s coach, PR Sodhi. Sondhi had also stated that he might take some legal action against the makers of the film for putting him in the bad light.
