After portraying a girl next-door ‘Rani’ in Queen, and donning a ready to fight look in Ungli, the actress for the first time ever will be seen playing a double role in the sequel Tanu Weds Manu Returns. Revealed on twitter, the first look of the movie and the actress looks quiet impressive in the short hairdo, sporting pants & sneakers and reprises her curled hair look with Salwar- Kameez like the prequel. The movie is a sequel to the 2011 hit Tanu Weds Manu starring Kangana Ranaut and R. Madhavan in the lead roles, directed by Anand L Rai.
Right from her debut the actress has managed to be experimental with roles, looks and each time she has hit the bull’s eye. Awards poured in for this actress par excellence right from her initial days of career and what can be more encouraging than winning a national award at a young age. The way she carried the characters she portrayed in films like Gangster, Life In A Metro, Fashion, Tanu Weds Manu, Krrish 3 and Queen; she reinvented herself with each of those.

The way Kangana has escalated her stature and has carved a niche for herself in the industry leading to growing fan following and being the first choice of many directors, it seems that the makers are planning their promotional strategies giving the leading lady all the spotlight.
Though Kangana is not seen much these days, but her absence from the promotions of her soon to release Karan Johar‘s ‘Ungli‘ is creating quiet a stir. Tanu Weds Manu was a surprise package and with the sequel the expectations are doubled.
If stood up to the expectations of critics and audiences then this movie will turn out to be yet another “Queen” for Kangana.
