Finally we get to see Karan Johar’s intriguing look in the film after the makers revealed Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma’s look in Bombay Velvet. Director-and-now-turned-actor, Karan Johar shared his first look from the film on his official Twitter account. “The villain in @anuragkashyap72 ‘s #BombayVelvet… Kaizad Khambatta essayed by yours truly!!!,” Karan tweeted.

The expressions on Karan’s face gives a feeling of a very different yet unique intensity. The mean look surely makes him look outstanding. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Bombay Velvet is Karan Johar’s first film with a full-fledged role as an actor. Karan plays the role of main antagonist, a debonair businessman in Bombay Velvet.
Bombay Velvet’is an upcoming drama film based on Gyan Prakash book called Mumbai Fables. The film shows the picture of Bombay in 1960’s and tells a story of a boxer, Johnny Balraj played by Ranbir Kapoor and an aspiring jazz singer, Rosie played by Anushka Sharma. The film will hit theatres on May 15, 2015.
