NEW DELHI: Bollywood’s very own ‘desi girl’ and internationally acclaimed super singer Priyanka Chopra recently displayed her charitable side, at a charity-auction in the Capital last night.
The bindass ‘Babli Badmaash’ babe was spotted attending the charity auction-cum-dinner, christened ‘Dare To Care’ at the ITC Maurya, in New Delhi. Priyanka has a long standing association with the Save the Girl campaign by UNICEF, and has been the goodwill ambassador for UNICEF since 2010.
Priyanka’s appearance in the city was brief, as she rushed in to the event and flew back to Mumbai the same night. Reportedly, Priyanka even managed an impromptu jig on stage, just because she was so thrilled to be supporting the noble cause.

Reveals a source close to the actress, “Priyanka has been supporting the girl child’s cause for many years. Now, she will auction her specially-designed Christian Louboutin shoes. This is the same pair she wore in her latest single, ‘Exotic’, which also featured Pitbull. The shoes will be autographed by Priyanka and Louboutin. The proceeds will go to initiatives that work towards the betterment of the girl child. The money will be used by UNICEF to create a safe and protective environment for girls in India.”
Priyanka’s upcoming projects include ‘Gunday’, ‘Zanjeer’ and the bipoic on boxer Mary Kom’s life and times.
