After watching the audience response to Humshakals, Riteish Deshmukh said, “Humshakals released last week and critically it was not well received as much as we had hoped for. But people want to watch the film and have fun. With Ek Villain I guess I have got both.”

Riteish Deshmukh even stated that both his films Humshakals and Ek Villain are clashing at the Box Office and he will get hurt if anyone of the film gets thumbs down from the audience. He also added that both the films are of different genres.

“It is not a good thing for me. I wouldn’t have been worried if any movie had released which did not feature me. I know the producers have taken the right call but I will be hurt in the crossfire. But it’s fine I’m still okay with it because they are of entirely different genres.” stated Riteish post the screening.

Riteish Deshmukh, who is seen revealing his grey shades in Ek Villain, also told us that it was his wide Genelia D’Souza who pushed him to take on this role.

“Genelia always tells me to do a negative role or a darker shade. When Ek Villain was offered to me I just thought this is it. Everyone came together.” stated an elated Riteish.

Going by the way the audiences have received Ek Villain we are very sure the film will set the Box Office on fire.[/tps_footer]
