MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh seems to be everywhere these days. Looks like he’s taking a leaf out of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan’s books, and is trying out the mantra for himself.

For we recently caught up with the lovable actor and newly minted producer at the trailer launch of ‘Chatrapati Shivaji’. At Novotel in Juhu, Mumbai’s posh suburb, Riteish jumped on the animation bandwagon when he decided to launch the trailer of the film ‘Chatrapati Shivaji’.

Present was filmmaker Azhar Khan, whose animation film is about the fearless Marathi warrior.

Riteish kept it casual in a grey cardigan and blue jeans, and was all smiles as he held forth on Shivaji: the legendary Marathi hero.

The trailer was launched amid much fanfare and hype, and Riteish did his best to promote the film.

We will also get to see more of Riteish in the coming weeks: the funnyman is all set to anchor the Zee Cine Awards with good friend Abhishek Bachchan.

Confirming the news, Abhishek had said, “I am very happy to be a part of Zee Cine Awards (ZCA) this year. I am going to be hosting the show along with my friend and brother Riteish Deshmukh this time.”

Further speaking about their on-screen camaraderie, Abhishek said, “The audiences have appreciated Riteish and me together in films, I hope they like our pairing at ZCA also because we are really working hard for it.”

Riteish chipped in: “Abhi and I are going to be hosting an award function for the very first time together. It is a huge responsibility and we hope to entertain our audiences to the hilt.”
