Salman Khan Hit And Run Case: High Court Identifies Inconsistencies In Evidence

Salman-hit-&-run-case[tps_footer]Bombay High Court since last Friday has been dictating Salman Khan ’s hit and run case in an open court. On Friday, the HC said that it will need two more days to arrive at a conclusion to avoid any flak. On Monday, the case continued with its examinations.

Yesterday i.e. Tuesday, Justice A R Joshi stated that there were many anomalies in the evidences provided. The evidence which were supposed to be the base for proving that Salman Khan was drunk while the incident took place had many inconsistencies. After close examination and loads of cross checking of facts, there have been many loopholes identified. Today the dictation of the case will continue with the close examination of the anomalies in the proofs.

The 2002 hit and run case has been going on since many years. Salman Khan was also criticized for using his star power to get away from the law. However, the latest development on the issue is that HC is likely to discard Salman Khan’s bodyguard Patil’s statement who had stated that Salman was behind the wheels. Patil was one of the prime witnesses of the hit and run case until now.

The case which is being held under Justice A R Joshi has now taken a steep turn as there have been many irregularities identified in the blood samples which were to be the basis to prove whether Salman Khan was under the influence of alcohol or no.

The court is now identifying that there are several missing links in the evidences and hence the verdict is undoubtedly going to be tricky. After so many years, many evidences and witnesses have changed their course and due to the same the judgment is taking time.

Salman Khan has appealed against the 5 year sentence granted to him by the Mumbai sessions court. The 2002 hit and run incident killed one individual and injured four others on the pavement. Well, after so many twists and turns the judgment still awaits.[/tps_footer]
