Salman Khan believes that Akshay Kumar is a bigger star than all the Khans of the industry!
The Bollywood actor Salman Khan has made all his fans restless for his upcoming film ‘Tubelight.’ Bhaijaan is definitely a superstar of B-town as his fan following explains it all.
When asked about his opinion on his stardom by DNA, he says that according to him Akshay Kumar is a bigger star. Explaining his viewpoint, he has been quoted saying, “Today, when they say (superstars) I think there is Aamir, Shah Rukh, me, and Akshay Kumar. We do fewer films — I do two films a year, Aamir does one film in three years, Akshay does four-five films a year. So you do the math. The man who works that hard and makes the maximum amount of money, and supports those many production companies, those many units, and those many directors every four months is a bigger star.”

When asked about his opinion on doing as many films as Akki, he says, “I used to do that. I think Akki is the only one who understood that back in the day, char- paanch lakh ke liye itni jyaada mehnat kar rahe the, ab crores ke liye utni mehnat nahi kar rahe hain… When we were paid so little per film, we did more films. Now we get paid so much more for a film, and we are doing fewer films.”
Akshay Kumar is next to be seen in the film, ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ with Bhumi Pednekar. The film is slated to release on August 11, this year. He is also working on the film ‘Padman,’ which also stars Sonam Kapoor and even has Amitabh Bachchan in a special role.
Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Tubelight’ is releasing on June 23, this week.
