Salman Khan’s ‘Kick’ Will Be Shot In London Extensively, Aiming For Eid 2014

It has finally been confirmed that once Salman Khan wraps up work on his brother Sohail Khan's 'Mental', he will begin work on Sajid Nadiadwala's directorial debut 'Kick'.

MUMBAI: Salman Khan may not have a film releasing on Eid in 2013, but he may be back to claim his spot in 2014. Salman Khan’s next film after ‘Mental’ – Sajid Nadiadwala’s directorial debut ‘Kick’ will go on floors at the end of this year, probably, in time for an Eid 2014 release.

Reports say that Salman Khan will begin work on ‘Kick’ as soon as he finishes work on his brother Sohail Khan’s ‘Mental’. ‘Mental’ is due for release in January 2014.

‘Kick’ is a remake of a 2009 Telugu film ‘Kick’ directed by Surender Reddy and which had Ravi Teja and Ileana D’cruz in the lead roles. The Hindi remake will be shot extensively in London and Jacqueline Fernandez will star opposite Salman Khan. If the remake follows the path of the original to a T, then two more important roles will have to be cast before the film starts shooting.

Salman Khan will be a very busy person over the next year as well. As soon as he gets done with ‘Kick’, he will move on to reprising his romantic Prem role for a new Sooraj Barjatya film, which releases on Diwali 2015. Looks like Salman Khan wants to have a monopoly on all the festive occasions possible.
