The portrayal of different glasses shows a transformation in the time and evolution of the character in the film. An insider gave inputs that the actor tried many sets of glasses for his character and at least 50 vendors were tried from Bangalore to China to get the right one that would justify his role.
In fact, director Rahul Dholakia was very particular about Shah Rukh Khan‘s glasses which means that the glasses have an eminent role to play for the character in the movie.
