Bollywood’s multi talented director lady Farah Khan celebrated her 50th birthday with friends and family on January 9th. Where actors like Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Kangna Ranaut and many others were spotted.
But the question on everyone’s mind was why Farah’s close friend Shah Rukh Khan was absent from the event. Gauri Khan was seen attending the party alone and everyone was asking as to why King Khan couldn’t make it to Farah’s party.
So to clear the air, and to not give anyone any chance to make speculations, Shah Rukh took to his Twitter account and justified the reason of his absence from the party. His Tweet read, “In the line of duty hav not been able to b with either Farah or Farhan on their b’days. May Allah give the cousins the best of all.. always.”
The actor who is currently shooting for his film “Fan” wished not only Farah Khan but also her cousin Actor-Director-Singer Farhan Akhtar who shares his birthday with Farah. The whole Akhtar family was seen attending the event including Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Zoya Akhtar and Farhan’s wife Adhuna Akhtar.
The event was interrupted by Police Officers, and the celebration was shut down because the party animals were playing music too loud, and as per rules, loud music cannot be entertained after 11 pm. Police forced to shut down the party and even charged Rs 5000 as fine for breaking the law by playing loud music.
