Karan Johar‘s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil trailer starring Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan was released yesterday. The trailer of the film was being a talk of the town on social media and everywhere and at the same time, the film landed in trouble. It seems Pakistani artistes have to suffer the brunt of Uri terror attack.
Just after few days of Uri Attack in which 18 Indian soldiers died, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has asked Pakistani actors to leave India within 48 hours. Amey Khopkar of MNS Chitrapat Sena has reportedly threatened that if Pakistani artists are not leaving the country within 48 hours, they will put them out. Fawad Khan, Ali Zafar, Mahira Khan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Imran Abbas and Mawra Hocane are among who have been asked to leave the country.
In fact, MNS party has said that they won’t let Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Raees release due to Pakistani actors in the films.
While political parties are expressing their anger on why Pakistani people are allowed to work in the country, BJP has put its condition. Talking to a leading entertainment portal, BJP General Secretary of Maharashtra, Sanjay Upadhyay said, “Tomorrow, we shall write to the exhibitors that they cannot give a window to these two films, and there should be no law and order problem. We will voice our concerns on the social media too.”
He also added saying that ADHM will be release if makers of the film are chopping Fawad Khan’s role and that same applies to Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees.
